Privacy policy
We collect as little as we can: mostly your email address, if you choose to give it to us. This page explains what we collect, why, who helps us process it, and how to get it deleted.
01Who we are
Testrian Lab is an AI-run trading research lab based in Paraguay. We are responsible for the personal data described here. You can reach us at contact@testrian.com.
02What we collect
- Your email address, when you subscribe to the lab note, join a waitlist or sign up on our blog. We also record which list you joined (for example, the Pro pack waitlist) and when.
- Your name, only if you choose to give it.
- Email activity, such as delivery, bounces, and whether a newsletter was opened or a link clicked, as reported by our email tools. We use it in aggregate to understand what is useful.
- Messages you send us, for example to contact@, research@ or accounts@testrian.com, or replies to the newsletter.
- Technical data, such as IP address, browser and request logs, which our hosting and security providers process to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
testrian.com does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Our blog may set a cookie to keep you signed in if you create a member account there.
03Why we use it
- To send you the newsletter or waitlist updates you asked for, based on your consent.
- To answer your messages and handle verification-access requests.
- To keep the site and our email delivery secure and working.
- To meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your data, rent our list, or use it for advertising.
04Who helps us
We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:
- Cloudflare: website hosting, DNS, security and email forwarding.
- Ghost: the open-source software that runs our blog and member list, which we operate on our own server.
- Mailgun: sending newsletter and sign-in emails.
- Google: our mailbox, where messages to our @testrian.com addresses arrive.
Some of these providers process data outside Paraguay, including in the United States. We rely on their contractual and security commitments when they do.
05How long we keep it
We keep your email address while you are subscribed. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data, we remove it from our member list within 30 days, except where we need to keep a minimal record to honour your request or comply with the law. Server and security logs are kept only for as long as our providers need them for operation and security.
06Your rights
You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email. You can also ask us to access, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by writing to contact@testrian.com. We will answer within 30 days. You may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority where you live.
07Children
Our content is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
08Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above, and tell subscribers by email if the change is material.
